Author Adriane Doherty read to her young children daily. Her love of books and helping young minds grow and understand the places around them inspired her to write for the Sweet Dreams series. Adriane has explored the city of Chicago with her children many times visiting Shedd Aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry, the many parks, wonderful independent bookshops, and fabulous eateries. After attending college Adriane entered into a sales career and later into finance. She is the long time accounting and operations director of the company she and her husband founded. She lives with her husband and three children in central Indiana.

Illustrator Anastasiia Kuusk seriously loves drawing, sometimes she even loathes going out of the house because of it. She jokes that half of her blood consists of watercolor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and a Master’s Degree in Animation.
