Description

Have fun helping your child learn the letters of the alphabet with this Indiana alphabet book. This book introduces young readers to the shapes and sounds of the letters of the alphabet in a fun jaunt through the Crossroads of America. A hidden rubber ducky is cleverly placed on each page to keep young minds focused on the page. In ABC Indiana, children will build their vocabulary and learn about Indiana’s state bird, tree, flower, people and landmarks. A friendly ducky guides children through the book, hiding somewhere on each spread. ABC Indiana was carefully researched so the author could introduce to young minds the best the Hoosier state has to offer. With sturdy pages and rounded corners, ABC Indiana is durable and safe for lots of learning fun.

Author Adriane Doherty was born and raised in Indiana, and has travelled all across the great Hoosier state. After attending college, she entered into a sales career and later into finance. She is the co-founder of a distribution company and its long time accounting and operations director. Adriane currently lives in central Indiana with her husband and children.

Illustrator Kirsten Halvorsen is a young artist with an art degree at William and Mary’s College. While illustrating for ABC Indiana, she is also working on her own projects. She is excited to use her friendly illustrations to help teach children their ABC’s.
